LUMIFORGE Automation is a private, internal tool set operated by the owner of the LumiForge YouTube channel. It helps the channel owner publish and manage the channel's own videos and live streams. It is not offered to the public: there are no user accounts, and nobody other than the channel owner signs in to it.
What it consists of
- LUMIFORGE Publisher — runs on the owner's own computer. Uploads the channel's own finished videos to YouTube, sets their thumbnails, adds them to the channel's own playlists, and reads the channel's own video, playlist and statistics data to keep production records.
- Movikit — runs on the owner's private server. Manages the channel's own 24/7 live streams (creating and running live broadcasts and updating their title, description, privacy and thumbnail) and reads publicly available YouTube data for the owner's own content research.
- LUMIFORGE Publisher — Reddit module — runs on the owner's own computer. Submits the owner's own finished short films as video posts from the owner's own Reddit account, one post at a time, each written for and reviewed against the rules of the specific subreddit before the owner approves it. To do that it reads those subreddits' rules, posting requirements and flair options, and the owner's own post history. Details below.
Both components use the YouTube API Services with Google OAuth, authorized only by the channel owner for the channel owner's own YouTube account. See the Privacy Policy for exactly which permissions are used and how Google user data is handled.
Reddit module
The Reddit module is a personal, non-commercial script application that uses the Reddit Data API, authorized only by the owner for the owner's own Reddit account. It is not a bot service, is not offered to anyone else, and does not act on behalf of other Reddit users.
- What it does: confirms the owner's own account identity; reads the public rules, posting requirements, flair options and a small sample of recent public posts (titles, flair, post type, score — no usernames) of the few subreddits the owner has chosen, so each post follows that community's rules; reads the owner's own post history in those subreddits to respect posting-frequency limits; submits the owner's own video post and one comment from the owner on that post.
- What it never does: vote, send messages or chat, follow or contact other users, comment on other people's posts, post identical content across subreddits, bypass bans or rate limits, use more than the owner's one account, or collect, sell, share or use Reddit data to train AI or machine-learning models.
- Volume: a few posts per week at most, each approved by the owner before it is submitted.
- Disclosure: posts are the owner's own AI-generated short films and are labelled as AI-generated wherever a subreddit requires it.
See the Privacy Policy for how Reddit data is handled.
