1. Who operates LUMIFORGE Automation
LUMIFORGE Automation is an owner-operated, internal automation system for the LumiForge YouTube channel (@LumiForge_X). It is operated by the channel owner for the channel owner's own use. It is not offered to the public, has no user accounts, and no one other than the channel owner authorizes it or signs in to it. It has two components: LUMIFORGE Publisher (runs on the owner's own computer) and Movikit (runs on the owner's private server).
2. YouTube API Services and Google permissions used
LUMIFORGE Automation uses the YouTube API Services. It is authorized through Google OAuth only by the channel owner, for the channel owner's own YouTube account. The permissions (OAuth scopes) it requests are:
| Component | Permission (scope) | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| LUMIFORGE Publisher | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload |
Uploading the channel's own videos and setting their custom thumbnails. |
| LUMIFORGE Publisher | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly |
Reading the channel's own channel information, its own videos' metadata, status and statistics, and its own playlists. |
| LUMIFORGE Publisher | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube |
Adding the channel's own videos to the channel's own playlists and reading playlist contents. |
| Movikit | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl |
Managing the channel's own live streams (creating, binding, starting and ending live broadcasts), updating the title, description, privacy setting and thumbnail of the channel's own live-broadcast videos, and reading the channel's own name and live-stream status. |
3. What YouTube data is accessed, and why
- The owner's own channel data — channel name and ID, the channel's own videos (titles, descriptions, status, privacy, publish time, thumbnails and public statistics such as views, likes and comments), the channel's own playlists, and the channel's own live streams and broadcasts. This is used only to publish, organize and manage the owner's own content and to keep the owner's production records.
- Publicly available YouTube data (Movikit) — public search results and public channel and video information and statistics (for example titles, subscriber, view and video counts). This is used only for the owner's own content research. It does not include any private data of other users.
LUMIFORGE Automation does not access other people's private YouTube data, and it does not collect personal information from viewers or from anyone other than the channel owner.
4. Where data and OAuth tokens are stored
- OAuth tokens for LUMIFORGE Publisher are stored only on the channel owner's own computer.
- OAuth tokens for Movikit are stored only on the channel owner's private server, with access restricted to the owner.
- Tokens are never published, shared, or stored in this website or its public repository.
- Records of the owner's own published videos (such as video links, the metadata used and publication times) are kept in the owner's own production files. Movikit keeps snapshots of public channel statistics used for research for a limited period (currently up to 120 days).
5. Sharing
Google user data obtained through Google APIs is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not transferred to third parties. It is used only by the channel owner for the purposes described above.
6. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
LUMIFORGE Automation's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. YouTube and Google policies
Because LUMIFORGE Automation uses the YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
8. Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (also available at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). After revocation, the stored tokens no longer work. To have stored tokens or records deleted, contact the address below.
9. This website
This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or forms of its own. GitHub may process technical request data as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
10. Changes
If LUMIFORGE Automation's use of Google or YouTube data changes, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised.
11. Reddit Data API (LUMIFORGE Publisher — Reddit module)
The Reddit module of LUMIFORGE Publisher is a personal, non-commercial script application that uses the Reddit Data API. It is authorized only by the owner, for the owner's own Reddit account, and runs only on the owner's own computer.
| Reddit data | Used for | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| The owner's own account identity (username, account age, karma) | Confirming the tool is signed in to the owner's account and that the account may post. | Only in the owner's production records. |
| Public subreddit information of the few subreddits the owner chose: rules, posting requirements, allowed post types, flair options, sidebar text | Making each post follow that community's rules. | Dated snapshots in the owner's own files, replaced as rules change. |
| A small sample of recent public posts in those subreddits: title, flair, post type, score, comment count, time (no usernames or other personal data) | Understanding what the community accepts, so the owner's post fits. | Inside the same snapshots. |
| The owner's own posts (link, title, time, removal status) | Respecting posting-frequency limits and keeping publishing records. | The owner's production records. |
The module writes to Reddit only to submit the owner's own video post and one comment from the owner on that post. It does not vote, send messages, contact or track other users, or derive information about any Reddit user. Reddit data is not sold, licensed, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI or machine-learning models. The Reddit app credentials are stored only on the owner's own computer, with access restricted to the owner, and are never published or stored in this website or its repository. Access can be revoked at any time by the owner at reddit.com/prefs/apps. Use of Reddit is also subject to the Reddit Data API Terms, the Responsible Builder Policy and the Reddit Privacy Policy.
